昭和35（1960）年、祖父 松本常吉が足立区千住曙町で創業。
８割の国産鰻と２割の外国産の鰻を取り扱っています。
国産鰻は、現在「静岡」「愛知」「徳島」「鹿児島」が主だった仕入先となります。毎日、午前０時頃に各産地より鰻が届きます。
加工場の入り口に積み重ねられた黒い桶には、生きた鰻の姿があります。午前４時には全社員が出社し、鰻を「立てる」作業を行います。
清涼な地下水を含ませ、約２日間鰻を「立てる」ことで、うなぎの体内に残る餌の臭いなどが抜け、味はよりクリアになります。その後、お客さまからのご依頼ごとに産地、サイズ、数量で仕分けを行います。お客さまのご依頼によっては、「捌く」「串打ち」「焼き」を行うこともございます。

We deal with 80% domestic eel and 20% foreign eel.
The current main suppliers of domestic eel are "Shizuoka," "Aichi," "Tokushima," and "Kagoshima" as the main production areas.Every day, eels are delivered from each production area around midnight.
Live eels can be seen in the black vats stacked at the entrance of the processing plant.At 4:00 a.m., close to dawn, all employees come to work to "stand" the eels.
By "standing" the eels in cool underground water for about two days, the smell of the food left inside the eels is removed. The taste becomes clearer. The eels are then sorted by origin, size, and quantity according to the customer's request.Depending on the customer's request, we may also handle, skewer, and grill the eel.

「ウナギが店にとどくまで」コーナーとして、鰻問屋として鮮度を保ち、お取り組み先に届ける内容を伝えています。
